MY WIFE WENT CRAZY

The poster is a graphic creation by the N. Zafeiropoulos Printing House. It is a collage of photographs of representative scenes from the film and is split in two parts. On the left of the poster, approximately in the center, a rectangular photograph depicts a scene from a night-club. Around a table with drinks, sit Lampros Konstantaras, Nitsa Marouda, Melpo Zarokosta etc. Lampros Konstantaras holds a tambourine and is surrounded by a five-member band. Above the photograph, on an azure background, the names of the leading actors appear in white capital letters: “Mairi Aroni, Lampros Konstantaras, Giannis Vogiatzis”. Below the same photograph, the names of the rest of the actors are listed, as well as the crew of the film: “Eleni Stauropoulou, Nitsa Marouda, Melpo Zarokosta, Marika Krevvata, G. The figures of both actors are placed on an azure background. At the bottom of the poster, on a black background, the title of the film can be read, in red, calligraphic, capital letters: MY WIFE WENT CRAZY. On the right: “Production Copyrights Finos Films”. A balanced creation that manages to illustrate the film’s comic element, with Lampros Konstantaras out of control and Mairi Aroni in a typical scene of conviviality at a night-club. Simple colors, the title of the film in red over black, and an azure background for the black-and-white photographs. The poster is divided in two parts. One that lists the crew of the film and another that emphasizes the film’s comic element. The film’s title letters (lettering) are also worthy of remark. The way in which it is calligraphically written, further intensifies the comicality.
